Divine In-depth Understanding.

” I describe it as coming to the realization and the awareness that there is always a master plan behind every human life experience.”- Kofoworola Afolabi

Hey, I know I’ve been away for so long. I have two major reasons: Laziness and School. But today I have finally decided to write about a mystic concept that happens to always make its way into my life, and words can’t even describe how excited I am writing this. I hope you guys are inspired by this writing piece as I am about to be inspired by it. I would try to coalesce my thoughts as simple as possible, so that you can get a deep understanding of the message I am trying to pass across.

What is Divine In-depth Understanding?

This is a phrase I have coined myself, and I know some of you may be thinking “why not just use Divine Understanding?” I insert the word ‘in-depth’ because divine understanding is simply just coming to the realization and understanding of the presence of God in your experiences. I believe it’s more like an Epiphany. Divine in-depth understanding is paying attention to detail the Doing and Being of God in our every day life. It’s more of a conscious effort than it is for divine understanding. You don’t just realize God’s presence, but you realize and have an in-depth understanding of His involvement in the issues of life you find yourself in. Divine In-depth Understanding is more like a conscious awareness.

Why is Divine In-depth Understanding Important?

I believe this is one of the most important mystic concepts that we need to cultivate because you start to see life in a different way. I describe it as coming to the realization and the awareness that there is always a master plan behind every human life experience. I strongly believe that this mystic concept’s best ally is the five senses for without them it cannot be expressed to its greatest potential. For example, listen to your heart beat and imagine that your heart stops for a moment. Just at that moment, life has been ceased. Now I know you know this, but think about it deeply and try to understand the gravity to which you are as good as dead without the air you breathe in. At this point, you should start to feel a certain heaviness in your heart. My point is this, this realization and awareness allows you to experience genuine gratitude to the extent at which at that moment you are not worrying about not being able to get the Iphone x max you wish you could get. You’re now more concerned about the steadiness of your heart beat and now you’ve experienced deep gratitude unconsciously, yet in a conscious way because you’ve acknowledged the importance of being alive and how your life could be ceased any moment from now by the Giver of life. You’ve not necessarily said you’re grateful out loud, but you have experienced the overwhelming emotion of gratitude. This might seem too deep, but it is an abstract concept worth practicing because it reduces your amount of worry and increases your amount of gratitude and peace. This can be practiced in the simplest of ways.

How have I experienced this?

Firstly, I would like to give credit to a book I read by Barbara Brown Taylor, An Altar in The world, that basically talks about having reverence for the simplest things of life i.e. realizing God in everything. Recently, I have been reading a lot of articles about life in general, and I just came to the realization and divine in-depth understanding that life is uncertain and would always be no matter how you try to plan your life ahead because you could simply just die any moment from now, but you just don’t know when. This is harsh reality, but it is the truth. I know we already know this, but the difficulty here is understanding that reality because when you come to that understanding, you start to see things differently. You tend to notice little things like your heart beat, what you eat, your locomotion and so on. You also start to experience overwhelming feelings. I was watching an Oprah Winfrey show about a woman who was extremely bruised in a burning car lit by a drunk driver with her two friends in the car the other day. I can safely say she had the most beautiful face, but now she has a face and skin nobody would want to associate with, and I just literally started crying because I was just thinking to myself that this could be me or anyone. How would I feel if I were in her place? I would basically feel like my life is over. But what struck me the most about her was her loving attitude. She had no resentment against the man who did this to her, and she was also a Christian. This experience brought to my awareness that the meaning of life is way beyond the concrete. Most of life’s meaning is discovered within our authentic selves. Because if God lives within you, life’s meaning is deep rooted within you and your divine in-depth understanding of the mystery of life uncovers itself slowly. After that experience I felt an instant gratitude I have not felt in a long time. This time around it was real.

Conclusion

What I’ve come to understand about life is that our experiences and the experiences of others in the outside world is as a result of what goes on within all of us as one race (the human race). These experiences are meant to unveil bits and pieces of truths we are missing about ourselves and the world around us because, let’s be honest, everything is a mystery. We can only strive to to learn and evolve as we experience the unfolding of life. In life, your interactions, experiences, you inner and external battles are as a result of a master plan that wants us to discover one more interesting fact about the world as it unfolds every moment of your life. If you’ve realized this, It’s now up to you to choose what you want to make of it. If you have not, as long as you are after truth, you’ll surely experience this feeling.
