
Happy new month guys! Hope February was great. Today I would be talking about lifestyle. When I say lifestyle, I mean our daily routine or basically how we live our lives every single day. Before you start reading, make sure to follow me on twitter and Instagram.
What is a lifestyle?
A lifestyle is the way a person lives. That is, what is the first thing you do in the morning when you wake up?, how do you approach matters?, what do you eat?, where do you go?, do you exercise? etc. All these contribute to your lifestyle.

Why is your lifestyle important?
Your lifestyle is important to not just you but also people around you. Why? The world needs you, and if you eventually live a bad life, you would have nothing to offer to the world. Besides that, you would make close relatives worry too much about you which you would not want to happen. Your lifestyle determines how long you will live, your future spouse, the school you would get into, the office you would work in, and above all your success story and happiness. How you live now would contribute to your success story right from the time you were born. So I urge you to start living the lifestyle you should live to achieve your goals to your fullest potential. When you drop bad habits, you notice that life becomes easier and simpler for you. Remember: we don’t want happiness. we want to be happy. To be happy, it starts from the kind of life you’ve decided to live.

How does your lifestyle affect your health?
For example, cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world after cardiovascular diseases according to NCBI. According to research, the main cause of cancer is lifestyle due to the fact that tobacco is 22% of the leading causes of cancer. Therefore a person that takes tobacco a lot has a higher chance of getting cancer. What I am trying to say is that we should live our lives wisely in order to be healthy and happy. Always remember that happiness stems from the good habits we cultivate. DROP YOUR BAD HABITS.
Common misconceptions
1. Living a good lifestyle means living a perfect life: It means working towards perfection.
2. Cultivating good habits, and then living the old habits is easy: It is not easy at all. It takes a determined person to drop bad habits.
3. It is not possible to get over bad habits: Dropping bad habits takes telling yourself everyday that you are on this earth for a purpose and to achieve that purpose, you need to stop the things that are not in line with your purpose; like an affirmative statement.
